Preserving America’s Heritage
America’s heritage must be preserved. History should be taught to our children in truth, and not in fiction or fabricated lies.  Growth and preservation, if wisely planned, can march hand in hand. From the Atlantic to the Pacific hallowed ground covers our country…and hollowed ground it must remain. As Americans we must all strive to insure that our heritage is not destroyed.
For the people, and especially our children, inform the State of Georgia about the importance of Meriwether Lewis. Read below and check out the link in the index.

Meriwether Lewis was raised in eastern GEORGIA. Yes, that is where he learned his outdoor skills.
During this time he first learned to hunt, becoming an excellent marksman. A family friend commented, “ He acquired in youth hardy habits and a firm construction. He possessed in the highest degree self-possession in danger.”  Also while in Georgia, Meriwether learned about the trees, shrubs, and grasses; of the fish, animals, birds, and insects.
I have attempted to encourage the State of Georgia to acquire the land and build a State Park or a State Historic Site at his old home site. Well...I guess they don't consider that one of the greatest Americans ever would draw the public to such a facility. Thats funny, as from St. Louis to the Pacific coast, Lewis and Clark attract millions.
